FAQ 🌿
Where is High Falls Sun Grown cannabis grown?
All High Falls Canna products are grown in New York’s Hudson Valley 🌄, a region known for its fertile soil, strong sunlight ☀️, and deep agricultural roots.
We work with local farmers (some with generations of experience in the region) to cultivate cannabis that reflects its environment. Every harvest is shaped by the land, the seasons, and the care that goes into it.
Are your products lab tested?
Yes. Every High Falls Canna product is tested by independent, third-party laboratories 🧪 to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
Testing happens throughout the growing and production process in accordance with New York State regulations. Each batch has a unique lab report, accessible through QR codes on our packaging or directly on our website.
- Our current lab reports are available under the Lab Reports tab on the menu bar.
What's the best way to store cannabis?
Store your cannabis in a cool, dark place in an airtight container.
Avoid heat 🔥, light ☀️, and excessive air exposure, as these can degrade cannabinoids and terpenes over time. And don’t leave your products in a hot car 🚗.
How much THC is in your products?
THC levels vary by product and batch.
You’ll find THC content clearly listed on each package. For a deeper breakdown—including cannabinoids and terpenes—refer to the lab reports available on our website under the Lab Reports tab on the menu bar.
Can I take too much THC?
Yes.
Overconsumption can lead to temporary discomfort, including anxiety, dizziness, or paranoia. If you’re new to cannabis or trying a new product, start low and go slow ⏳. Give your body time to respond before consuming more.
If needed, you can contact Poison Control at 800-222-1222 ☎️.
How does THC work?
THC interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), primarily binding to CB1 receptors in the brain and central nervous system 🧠.
This interaction is what produces the effects commonly associated with cannabis, including changes in mood, perception, and appetite.
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The ECS is a network of receptors throughout the body that helps regulate balance, or homeostasis ⚖️.
Your body naturally produces compounds called endocannabinoids. Plant-derived cannabinoids like THC and CBD can interact with this system because they share a similar structure.
What is Cannabis used for?
Cannabis is commonly used for both recreational and wellness purposes.
People often report effects like mood elevation, relaxation, improved sleep 😴, and increased appetite 🍽️. Cannabis is also explored for its potential role in managing discomfort, stress, and other physical or mental experiences.
What are terpenes?
Terpenes are natural compounds found in many plants, including cannabis. They’re responsible for aroma, flavor, and part of the overall experience.
For example:
- Limonene (citrus) 🍋
- Linalool (lavender) 🌸
- Pinene (pine) 🌲
- Myrcene (earthy) 🌿
In cannabis, terpenes work alongside cannabinoids to shape how each strain feels, tastes, and expresses itself.
What makes your cannabis different?
It starts in the soil 🍄🌱
Our plants are grown under the sun ☀️ in living, organic soil supported by a natural fungal network. This mushroom-based system helps break down nutrients, support root health, and bring out deeper terpene expression.
We focus on growing cannabis the right way: slowly, intentionally, and with respect for the plant from start to finish.
